So I found out recently that FaceBook is no longer allowing WordPress sites to post to personal pages. I find that very dumb and inconvenient. Half the reason I started this blog was so I only had to write my thoughts down once and could post to multiple places at the same time.
Looking at the date on this, I guess I’m a little behind the times…
Apparently, I don’t deal with some of the frustrations that have caused FaceBook to decide to stop letting 3rd party apps and platforms post to a page. I don’t use FaceBook to login to anything, and I certainly don’t use it to give permissions on anything, so it is really annoying to me that this feature changed. I guess if you use FaceBook to log in to other apps and sites, and then that site starts posting stuff on your wall… yea, that would be annoying.
They say on their site that we now have to manually share our posts on to our walls. That is annoying, but I guess they have their reasons. All in the name of security….
